Southern New England Stumpage Price Report
home

Curious to see how southern New England stumpage prices compare with prices in other parts of the country? See the following links. Be careful, though- some places do not report stumpage (i.e., standing timber), but log prices delivered to mills. Also, some states use different log rules to estimate board foot volume.

Wisconsin          Maine     Vermont        Pennsylvania

New Hampshire          Tennessee       New York

Mississippi               Louisiana          Maryland / Delaware

about this site
This information is meant to be used as a guide only. Use with care. Prices paid for standing timber (or "stumpage") can be influenced by many factors, including but not limited to: timber quality, distance to market, accessibility of property, sale volume, market demand, season, skid distance, landowner requirements, method of sale (e.g., competitively bid, or directly negotiated) and logging costs.
